Facets

Tonight I drag out an anthology and muse
Casting a yellow tint castling this valley and its ridge
Facets of you and me in fleeting frenzied views
Purple came in transit from under a raven's wing
Grazing my face passing through the crop of a farming ground
Crickets sing in lower elevations through star light views
Making friendship bracelets with my arteries are you amused?
I walk through this valley of facets of you and me
Till death creeps and engages me
Till death do we part?
Till death do we start?
In this valley through shadows I see facets of you and me

T.J.
